'COASTAL VETERINARY SERVICES' IS A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED PRIMARY CARE SERVICE FOR SMALL ANIMALS ON THE SUNSHINE COAST.

We operate out of our consult rooms in Coolum Beach or via a mobile house call service which covers the coastline between Noosa and Maroochydore. 

WE ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT TO OTHER CLINICS AS WE DON'T OFFER SURGICAL OR EMERGENCY SERVICES. 

WE FOCUS ON FEAR FREE AND COMFORTING PRIMARY VET CARE. 

A little bit more about us: 

We started our own vet service as a house call service. After years of practice, we know it is a great way to minimise the stress and inconvenience of taking your pets to a vet clinic for routine check-ups, management of medical cases and palliative/ end of life care. 

After a while, we also wanted to extend our 'less clinical and more comforting' style of primary veterinary care to those who don't wish to have a house call. It led us to create our unique consultation rooms, which are designed to be more homely and as stress-free as possible for clients and patients. 

We offer vaccinations, microchipping, health checks, medical treatments, palliative care and pet euthanasia.

We also offer private consultations for pets that are very anxious or reactive. Please contact us if your pet needs this. 

We strive to treat each and every patient with the same level of care and compassion that we would want for our own pets. Whether we are performing a routine check-up, diagnosing an illness, or providing palliative care and end of life services, our goal is always to help pets live happy, healthy lives and to let them leave us in a dignified and peaceful manner.

Our Vet & Founder – Dr Sandra, BVSc, ANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)

Dr Sandra brings over 30 years of experience as a trusted general practice veterinarian, with additional qualifications in small animal medicine through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS).

Her career has taken her across Australia and internationally, working in private practice, animal welfare organisations, veterinary charities, and at the University of Sydney’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This wide-ranging experience has shaped her gentle, thorough, and compassionate approach to veterinary care.

Now running her own consult-focused clinic in Coolum Beach, Dr Sandra values the opportunity to care for her patients personally — from first visit to follow-up. She takes pride in offering thoughtful, one-on-one care in a quiet, low-stress environment where pets and their people feel truly supported.

When Dr Sandra isn’t practising veterinary medicine, she loves spending time with her two sons, aged 20 and 18, and her adopted canine, Buddy. She’s also an avid photographer and can often be found at Point Arkwright or Noosa National Park, camera in hand, capturing the Sunshine Coast’s breathtaking coastline and wildlife. Nature is her greatest inspiration, and she finds joy in sharing its beauty through her lens.
